Biodegradable bikinis and swimsuits
IDswimwear bikinis and swimsuits are made from biodegradable polyamide fabrics that, when properly disposed of in landfills, decompose in approximately 3 years.
The transformation of the DNA of the fiber (87% polyamide, 13% elastane) allows bacteria to feed on the polyamide, resulting in a much faster decomposition compared to traditional fiber which takes decades. But don’t worry, the garments don’t disintegrate while being used! The decomposition only occurs after the item is discarded in landfills, an environment conducive to bacteria doing their job.

Our pieces are designed to endure and manufactured with integrity. We use the highest quality fabrics to ensure that our swimsuits and bikinis are ultra-durable and maintain their shape. We focus on timelessness, not trends, and our pieces have longevity.

Combatting waste
We are strongly committed to craftsmanship, quality control, and waste management. Sampling is done internally using leftover fabrics; fabric cutting is meticulously planned to ensure minimal waste; and fabric scraps are used to create smaller clothing pieces and hairbands and scrunchies.
